Tulips and Booties and Hats, Oh My!

Spring time is finally here! Actually, for me summer is almost here, because I will be done with finals in about two days. Hurrah! It is hard to believe that time rushes by so quickly, but it has been a hard year academically so I am not too sad to see it go. I have been rather unproductive in terms of craftiness lately, unfortunately. I think after the project-like nature of the swap and its thrilling conclusion, I was a little bit drained. I am back, now, though, and so excited to actually have free time and so much inspiration! I did manage to whip up a few baby hats for my boyfriend's cousin's new baby girl..

My house is so pretty in spring time! I can't wait to be home for more than a week at a time. My mom  has such a green thumb, aren't these tulips just gorgeous?

Baby hats are so quick and easy to make, plus they have the added benefit of being posilutely absatively one of the most adorable things ever. Especially when they are on a baby! Another Ta-Dah project: the tea cozy I was making for my friend!

It looks a tad small here because it was being modeled by a slightly stouter tea pot than the one it was designed to cover, but it turned out so pretty! And I got to keep the leftover yarn... muahahaha.

So! That is what I have been up to lately. Hope the flowers are as beautiful everywhere as they are here!
